Reported Crop Circles for the State
of Minnesota -
[Unknown], Meeker County (December 27, 1974)
Forty-seven circles and randomly-downed grass discovered in a pasture found amidst areas of melted snow. Also found inside one of the circles was a mutilated heifer calf. The eyes, left ear and cheek of the cow had been removed in a surgical-type fashion. There was no blood either in the cow or on the ground. Police officers reported finding no footprints or tracks anywhere in the field despite the melted snow, circles, and animal mutilation.
The subsequent investigation by University of Minnesota professor, Terrance Mitchell showed high concentrations of magnetism in the field.
